Tim Wofford, the founder and CEO, is a Dallas resident hailing from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who has seen a varied and international business career. He began in chain store retail, with purchasing and merchandising jobs at Dillard’s, Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and on the founding team of Staples. He has had P&L responsibilities well into the billions annually, dozens of direct reports, and hundreds of indirect reports. Mr. Wofford then embarked on his international ventures, working/living in over 20 countries creating Staples clones for a Dutch firm, SHV Makro. These were highly successful. He has launched manufacturing operations in numerous fields including CD/DVD manufacturing, furniture, computer peripherals and accessories, beverages, hand sanitizer, hormone therapy solutions, and nutraceuticals. Mr. Wofford has recruited and hired at least 2,500 in his career and remains connected in many industries.
Mr. Wofford obtained a dual degree undergraduate in Finance and Psychology. Further, he took advanced-level business courses in an adjunct executive program at Harvard while working for Staples in Boston.
He has 4 children, one West Point grad now an Army Ranger, and one Air Force Academy grad now a pilot. He was a member of the nationally-ranked University of Arkansas baseball team. While in high school, he set an all-time national record for stolen bases in a season and was honored in Sports Illustrated.
